I really enjoy doing things with my family on the weekends. When we first moved down here and I looked up "things to do in Orlando" in google I always got the same results - Disney, Universal, Gatorland, Sea World. There is so much more to do and see in Florida that is "Unknown" to those who visit and to even those that live here. I wanted to help others find things to do with their families so that they can create memories that they could look back on for years to come.

Sea Life Aquarium- Orlando, FL
This past year a new attraction was built on International Dr enticing passengers to soar 400 yards above the theme parks and chaos of the streets below. In addition to the eye there are 2 other attractions inside the facility. One of them is the Sea Life Aquarium and the other is Madam Tussauds wax museum. A friend of mine was able to get us into all 3 of the adventures and I thought they all are done very well.

The Orlando Eye - Orlando, FL
This year a new attraction hit the scene in Orlando and of course I wanted to try it out for the blog. The nice part about this attraction is that there are many things to do in the area, free parking, and you have many choices in things to do. The building that houses the Eye also has a Sea Life Aquarium and Madam Tussaud's Wax Museum. You can buy any of these experiences individually or save as you combine them. Then outside the area there are many restaurants/museums/arcades/ to explore and then there is even more surrounding the landing.
The Eye is a 400 foot observation wheel. It has roughly 30 capsules that rotate on the wheel. It takes about 20 minutes for the wheel to complete a rotation. There is seating in the middle of the capsule for those that are not as into the heights as others. From the middle of the capsule you are able to see out but unless you walk directly up on the glass you cannot really see down.

CSI Experience - Orlando, FL
One day I was driving down International Drive and I drove past a sign CSI experience, so I turned the car into the parking lot to see what it was all about. I found out it was an interactive game created by students at Rice University that allows you to be a Las Vegas CSI detective. There are 3 cases to solve and you work through the whole process. I asked around and one of my girlfriends was really interested in going, so we went. They allow no photography inside - not even the lobby area. Upon entering you sign in and get a CSI detective vest and clipboard with your crime scene form. You are then ushered into a room where Gil Grissom discusses the importance of CSI and how they work with law enforcement to solve crimes. We then proceeded to our crime scene where you are told to draw all the important information onto the crime scene grid. Anything can be important!!!! Once done with the scene you go to your colored evidence table for comparison - did you see everything? Once you have verified that you know what evidence there is you move throughout the different areas to verify the evidence. For instance you check the tire tread, fingerprints, substances, etc. You walk through several of these areas and then meet the coroner for the information from the 3d autopsy. Once you have collected and examined the evidence you will need to go through and answer questions to determine who is the killer. Will you pick the right person? Did you find all the clues? Come out and try it today!!!!
